In addition to GP consultations the practice offers a comprehensive range of clinics and healthcare services:
Ante-natal & Neo-natal Care - this is carried out by our midwive in the practice. She sees patients on Thursdays and Fridays
Baby Clinic - for advice and vaccinations on Monday 14:00 – 15:30.
Whooping Cough Vaccination for Pregnant Women - If you are over 16 weeks pregnant, the Department of Health is recommending that you are vaccinated against whooping cough to help you protect your baby against this disease. This should be done at your scan, or you can book an appointment with a practice nurse
Vaccinations - routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses. If you have left it too late to book an appointment with one of the practice nurses, then you can attend travel clinics at Brighton, Hove or Gatwick:

Flu vaccination - If you are eligible for a flu jab you will have received an invite to book an appointment. Please speak with a member of the recpetion team or with a GP/Nurse next time you are in the surgery
Asthma, COPD and Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) - regular check-ups and advice from practice nurses and healthcare assistants on lifestyle, inhaler techniques and medication. Book in routine nurse/healthcare assistant clinic
Phlebotomy - appointment times are variable so please speak to reception
Diabetes - comprehensive advice and management for insulin and non-insulin dependent diabetics including blood pressure and blood lipid management. This is managed by Dr L Shillito, Jo Morris and Kelly Robbins
Smoking Cessation - advice and treatment for people committed to quit smoking (nicotine replacements and other measures) is available at various appointment times.
Alcohol Liaison Nurse - Sandy, our alcohol Liaison nurse works on Tuesdays in the surgery. Please speak to reception to book an appointment with her.
Leg Ulcer Clinic and Wound Closure - advice and wound care by our nurses throughout the week
NHS Health Checks - lifestyle checks for the +40 s. Book in for an appointment with healthcare assistant
Teenage & Young Person’s Contraception and Sexual Health Clinic for ages 13-24 - nurse-run drop in service to discuss an
ything to do with sexual health. Sexual health checks can be carried out if necessary and free condoms available with C-Card to under 25s. Tuesdays 15:00 – 17:30.This is a completely confidential service.
Family Planning - advice on contraception and implanon fitting and provision of free condoms.Advice and oral contraception including emergency contraception is dealt within normal consultations; implanon fitting (and removal) will be booked by the individual clinician.
Intra-uterine Device/System Fitting and Removal Clinic - by appointment only contact reception for details.
