At Park Crescent we are trying to make sure all urgent concerns are dealt with as soon as possible, unfortunately this means that you might not be able to use our eConsult service to request appointments for routine concerns. This is reviewed on a daily basis according to staffing and capacity.

Covid Vaccine Pass Update
Anyone who has had a Covid Vaccine can get a Covid Passport for Domestic or Travel, you can get both of these through the NHS App.
If you do not have a smart phone call 119 who will be able to send you a letter or PDF file you can download or print at home.

Booking your own Telephone Appointment
The surgery understands that there have been frustrations for patients trying to book into an appointment with their chosen clinician. This was shown in the results of the GP Survey this year. We also understand that patients felt that there was not enough appointment capacity, and that many of the available appointments were booked into quickly when they were available. Often this involved long waits on the telephone before you had the chance to speak to one of the reception team.
The surgery is now offering patients the chance to book their own routine telephone appointment. This can be done on line using your SystemOnline or NHS App accounts. Patients can click on line and view all available telephone appointments with either our GP or ANP staff; and the process takes less than 5 mins. You can book non-urgent, routine appointments up to 5 weeks in advance. At the moment this service is only open to those teams and for specific flu clinics during winter, and for telephone appointments. We appreciate there is a frustration for patients who wish to book directly for a face to face appointment however the surgery must still adhere to the total triage model as advised by NHSE and as such you must first speak with a clinician before being booked in.
Nearly half our patients have access to this, so if you want to get set up then please contact reception who will be able to arrange this for you. SystemOnline access also provides you with access to:
- Ordering repeat medication
- Viewing your recent test results
- View your Medical Record (at the moment this is from the date you request it however you can ask for historical access as well)
If you have no internet access then don’t worry, you will still be able to book appointments as usual by contacting reception.
If you think that you may need to be seen sooner then we ask that you complete an e-consult via the link on our website. This allows you be given advice based on your symptoms or directed to another health provider such as the Pharmacy. It also means that the surgery has necessary information to then be able to book you in accordingly.
